This really should have gone in the comments section…

This may be a little late but luckily I don’t really care.

Well if Halo Freakin 3 is supposed to come out in 2007, well I don’t see why you need an xbox 360 NOW. I mean if anything this news just gives you more reason to wait. And you remember what happened last time with Halo set-fire-to-a-crowded-theater 2 release date. Remember how that was delayed about a year. So that means, history tells us that Halo punch-a-baby-in-the-face 3 won’t actually come out until 2008. And at that point, assuming Microsoft keeps on their release schedule for new consoles, you are already almost half way to a brand new console so you may as well wait a couple more years and get the next generation in say 2010 or 2011. Hey maybe that could be your high school graduation present, a xbox 360. they should be real cheap by then.

Oh and as for star testing, that is a great week you are right. However, might I suggest not actually bombing the test on purpose. Now I am not saying you should study for or try really hard on the test, trust me I would never advise anyone to do anything like that, not even my worst of enemies. However, the star test is one of the few tests you will take where they will actually pay you to well on them. If you score high enough you can get a governor’s scholarship which I believe is worth a full $1000, plus the interest you make off it every year. Now that money is technically supposed to go towards you education, but who is to say an xbox 360 is not a valuable part of your education?
