Screw You Mapquest! Horray Google Maps

Google just launched there new map service and it is great. It makes mapquest look like yahoo maps powered by mapquest, and yahoo maps powered by mapquest look like an actual map, and an actual map look like a line drawn in the dirt.

its almost like a java thing but its not. you can reach in there and move the map around with your mouse and shift to wherever without having to reload. The best part is how the maps look. The streets have names and it’s very clear what everything is.

As of now my personal (and therefore correct) top two best and most innovative companies in the history of the world are 1. Google 2. Apple*

*Note Apple could move up and tie if Tiger turns out to be as good as it looks, and if the G6’s are like the rumors, and there is also a 64-bit OS coming out, then apple could move up. But until then, Google number 1.
